White Californian Sage stick 

Smudging is one of the most ancient spiritual rituals known to man. If this is your first time, welcome. Your way is the perfect way. There is no right or wrong. Most cultures burn, smoke, smudge or purify in some way shape or form as a cleansing process. We have chosen White Californian Sage for its antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. Especially in today's environment we need all the help from nature we can get. I always feel my home is at peace after a good smudging. Wiping out all those hot emotions, Teenager's manic mood swings, Workplace stress that has been brought home, and eye rolls from my Wiener dog- " Mum's at it again". There is a lot of interesting reads on the web on different ways to cleanse, but however you do this, remember to use a bowl or fireproof plate with some salt in the bottom. As you go, this bowl is to catch the embers that may fall. We do not want you to burn your place down! This piece is quite large and should last at least 3 burns in an average home.

FACTS: Candles have a memory! Make sure you have at least an hour to burn your new treasure, so that the wax can melt right to the edges, creating a "melt pool". If you do this right the first time it will help you to have a fabulous burn every time and your candle will be less likely to tunnel and waste half the wax up the sides. Cut your wick before every burn. This ensures that the wick is fresh of that " burnt mushroom look" that most wicks get, leaving the wick fresh to absorb the scent and sending out the beautiful aroma to float around your space and into your senses.

Please remember to burn your candle safely, always pop your candle onto a heat resistant surface and away from children and animals. (As a result, I may have burnt my kitchen bench from not practicing my preach!)
